VIA Project

I was involved in the planning, coordination and implementation with a team for our class VIA project at the Lions Befrienders Senior Activity Centre. We interacted and played games with the elderly to keep them entertained. We also realised the difficulties that the elderly faced and decided to assist them. In response to the needs of these elderly, we subsequently organized a school-based donation drive to collect daily necessities from the whole school before delivering it to the centre.

VIA Project

During the holidays, I would go to a student care centre, Brighton Connection Student Care Centre, together with my friends to volunteer to help tutor the underprivileged children there. During Christmas, we also assisted the centre in giving out Christmas packages, containing food, beverages and games to the underprivileged families in the neighborhood. This is to allow them to be able to celebrate Christmas together as a family.
